BCR200DTP EOL Notice

Effective from 10th February 2021, Pradotec will stop supplying the BCR200DTP due to one of the components - IC MAXQ1850 having reached end-of-life. For those that are no longer under warranty, repair work will still be provided for the following parts and the replacement of parts will be based on the parts availability:

  • SAM slot replacement

  • Mainboard component replacement

  • Card slot

  • Fingerprint Sensor

  • USB

All repairs will be subjected to the imposition of the diagnostic fee of RM50 per device, which will be deducted from the final repair costs.

With regards to those that are still under warranty, please kindly provide us with the number of devices that are still under warranty and the expected number of repairs foreseen in order for us to manage the parts availability

Pradotec’s BCR230 Series is the latest version of our biometric MyKad reader. As the BCR230 is not not a direct replacement of the BCR200DTP, clients who have used the BCR200DTP and intends to purchase the BCR230 will require integration their applications with the BCR230 SDK.
